We teach 5th grade US History to 1877, 6th grade 1877 to the present, 7th grade civics so any resources you can share, I would be more than happy to link to. Email the links or resources.

Glad to know you are using the resources I put together. I would love to work with others to expand and enhance my middle school Social Studies and Science web pages. I did recently post 6th grade US History web page at http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/resources/middle/6history.htm If you have any resources, links or ideas, let me know. Collaborating on resources helps all of us since there are soo many websites and so little time.

RE: ITMA: The format was a presentation on Thesis projects that graduates presented. This helped calm my nerves (along with my colleague's, Deloris), realizing that these projects are the things she and I do everyday. It was informative--I'll send you the links whenever I can find my VSTE folder.

Thanks for your presentation today. It was informative and enjoyable. I had one question that I could not figure out using Windows Movie Maker and you answered it. Thanks again.

Hey Beth! I would love to help you...but that would require me to enter the middle school setting again... and unfortunately I developed an allergic reaction to that particular grade level :-) Good wishes to you and your presentation. I know you will do a great job!

I just got my presenter information: Presentation Day: Monday
Presentation Time Slot: M 4:00 PM-5:00PM
Session Code: M603
Presentation Room: Garden Court 1
Room Capacity: 108

Program Description: Improve behavior and increase self esteem in unmotivated students through technology integration projects. Discover how leadership roles and problem solving tasks can engage challenging students and benefit the classroom community." Did you get yours? If you want to, send yours to my email and I'll think, or if you want to put it on my page, feel free to do that. I'll explore my notes. (and yes, that was taken in China--I worked in a small town in the mountains and the locals had never seen a digital camera before.)
