Hey, John! It's Kim from ILES. This is my SL Avatar. Have you thought about trying Second Life? Several of us are getting very involved in developing Personal Learning Networks there. Come join the fun!

Hey John. Your teachers did a photostory project. They also learned how to use their Flip video camera and did a little video intro to their project and put both together using Moviemaker. They were great!

I have PhotoStory on all the school's computers but it is seldom used. I REALLY think we need to have a Portfolio for teachers where once each semester they incorporate some technology into a classroom session. Not too threatening, but at least a slight push. Then perhaps you could have video streaming one semester, web research/information another, etc. Over time it could provide inducements live flash drives or whatever to significant lessons or examples.

Dig storytelling is at Hermitage. We divide up the parts- my main focus is on photostory. Joan does MovieMaker and Michelle does Web Blender. Joan incorporates the flip camera into the MovieMaker part.

I concur with simple is better. My two attendees are well prepared for what they want to accomplish. I started planning with them when it was first announced. Wanda has seen MovieMaker, I'm very familiar with it and tried to ensure she and Kathy have clips, photos, material and some sound files they want to incorporate. Tom and I are driving together tomorrow. Where's your class and are you conducting it?
