One Thing I Found Valuable at NECC

If you are new to Web 2.0 tools you might find this helpful. I attended Gail Lovely's Ten Ten Web Tools for Younger Learners. She was focused on K2 and used tools that work with non-readers. Of course they can also be used with older students. http://glovely09.wetpaint.com/page/TopTen+for+Young+Learners

In addition to sharing mandatory sessions and information about new software and hardware with my teach… Continue

Hi Kim,

With your interest in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

I visited a couple of times on Monday nights, my friend Laura B keeps encouraging me so I may eventually get with the program.

I'm trying to get involved with SL. One of the interesting things about me is that I have never liked games - not board games, not card games, not video games. I DO love wearing costumes. I think I'm a frustrated actress. For whatever reason I just have trouble generating any enthusiasm for SL. The folks who know me would tell you that I'm pretty much fascinated by anything technological except SL. So I'll keep working at it!

Communication issues in VB are not going away and this is why we added your private emails to our list. Are you talking about other communication issues like the ITRT Listserv TOO?

Thanks for all your SL advice and help. And it was nice to see you online last evening for the class demo. It was a bit of spontaneity for some folks who had never heard of SL.
