Karen--I just ordered my book. This is a book I've been meaning/wanting to read for a long time. Thanks so much for doing this!

Hi Sean! I was just invited to join Joanne's page and was looking around and stumbled upon you. Hope you had fun at the conference. It's always nice to see an ole QTL friend at the conference each year. Take care, enjoy that new baby and I will see ya at the next tech conference.

ITRT: Guidelines for Teachers and Administrators via DOE

This came out today, via:

http://bit.ly/222L1n

It is the newly updated guidelines for teachers and administrators for people in my position as an ITRT. At first glance it seems like a thorough article on the issues that we face and how we spend our time. It references three studies done on the position of ITRT throughout the state of Virginia. I'm guessing that it will come in handy at NECC next year as we get ready to showcase the ITRT position to the other… Continue

How do you start a new school year?

Obe Hostetter's email to the VSTE ITRT Listserv got me to thinking (nice job Obe!). He shares some fantastic resources that all of us can use as we start this school year, that is for sure.

In Floyd County… Continue

Blog feeds on Netvibes (again)!

For some reason when I clicked on Karen's post, it didn't work right, so I tried to add it to this post. Click on the Netvibes button below to add the blog feeds that have been collected so far to your Netvibes page.

Thanks for the great idea on this Karen!

Now that it is over for another year . . . . . .

I have been thinking about the conference, the sessions I went to, and mostly the great people I met. During a podcast session today with Meg Swecker and Tina Coffey, we were wondering how many of the attendees had blogs, or wrote blogs on a regular basis. If you do have a blog, would you mind posting the link so that folks who attended the VSTE conference can read what is on your mind? We thought it would be a nice set of links to add to our own list of blogs. If you don't have a blog, maybe yo… Continue

Can we two places at once?

As I look through the VSTE program, I am struck (again--this is not new) by how many sessions I'd like to attend during each time slot. Is there a way to be more than one place at a time? There are so many great sessions to consider attending this year, plus with the emphasis or inclusion of Assistive Technology, there are even more to choose from. Today and tomorrow will be fantastic. I hope that people keep adding to this site as well as to the del.icio.us site with the tag: vste2008 Enjoy the… Continue
