There are several exciting meetings in VSTE's virtual world coming up this fall. We meet at 8 Eastern time (5 PM Second Life Time/Pacific Time). The bowling alleys remain on the island from this week's meeting. Come play anytime. It's surprising how fun bowling is in a virtual world. I scored a 198! Unheard of in my first life!

Once again there will be a Second Life presence at the VSTE Conference in December. This will be year four of VSTE Island. We plan to share at the digital sandbox on Monday to show what VSTE Island is and how we use it for networking and professional development. Then Tuesday morning we will assist anyone who wants to try it. We'll set up shop, so to speak, for a couple of hours and help you create an avatar, join the VSTE group in SL, find the island and learn the basics.…

The stage is set. We decorated two "haunted" houses this week. VSTE members came and added bits all week. They are both full of spooky surprises. Boy, we have had fun and learned a lot! This is VSTE Island's one year celebration (Monday, Feb. 22 @9 PM EST) and we want YOU to be there. Three more days until the face to face VSTE Conference, Pioneers Shaping the Future! Second Life Pioneering New Frontiers

VSTE Island in Second Life will host the Virtual Pioneers this week at the VP regular Sunday evening time. This will also be our weekly meeting.
