1 Day SMART Notebook Creation Conference
The 1 Day SMART Board Conference is now open to anyone with any experience!
The location has also been moved to the HYATT PLACE in CHESAPEAKE/GREENBRIER 709 Eden Way North, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320
Join us for a 1 day SMART Notebook Conference of collaboration in leveled groups where you will design SMART Notebook lessons correlated to Virginia SOLs. Sign up ASAP at [ http://sites.google.com/site/c4cohort/ ]http://sites.google.com/site/c4cohort/
The cost for the day is $20 which includes lunch (NONREFUNDABLE)
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 10 PER GROUP!
The intention is to create at least one SMART Notebook or SMART Response file (Senteo clickers) that is aligned to Virginia SOLs and can be shared statewide. SMART offers guidance on approved design as
well as a comprehensive rubric that we intend to use in order to maintain consistency.
The cohort will include ten facilitated groups (link in sidebar) organized by grade level and content.

9:00- 9:55: Session 1 - Tips/Tricks (resource page) with Project Overview
10:05 - 10:50: Session 2 - Facilitator Lesson Examples
11:00 -12:00: LUNCH (Catered by Panera Bead)
12:00 - 3:30: Content Creation with breaks
3:30 - 4:00: Peer Review/Sharing
4:00 - 4:30: Wrap Up and Giveaways
