07-08 Year Ending

The school year is over and my time at work is almost done. Moving computers, catching up on inventory changes, paperwork, etc. will fill my days until June 30th. It has been a very busy year full of surprises. I feel like I learned more than I ever thought I would, but still have much to learn.

During my month off I hope I will have time to become better at blogging, Wiki's, etc. I want to make sure next year that more is incorported into several of our grade level plans. I have tons of ideas, but applying them is what will be the challenge. I'm lucky to have so many colleagues who are already applying these Web 2.0 applications. I have made a few attempts at some of the social networking applications (Facebook, Twitter & Jaiku).

I have developed a fun addiction of late, Second Life. I find it amazing that other educators are "InWorld". I've met many teachers and educators from around the world. I've even participated in a few ISTE, DEN, and ELVEN functions. My play is to attend more of these over the summer.
