First, a thank you to those of you who have welcomed my undergraduates to this space. You've given them advice, shared your wisdom, and just generally made them feel like a part of the community. Thanks!
This semester, I added Voice Thread to my course and I'm glad I did. I thought this group would be interested in seeing them as they are all tied to the Standards of Learning. Most of my students are planning to use them as part of their student teaching experience.
By the way, here's the one I created for them. It reviews the different tools we have studied and asks them to think about how they can be integrated into the classroom. Please feel free to add your comments:
And, I'll end with another thank you to my Twitter buddies who had excellent ideas for how the students can easily allow students to comment on their threads. I am reminded of the power of my professional learning network and I hope my students are coming to see its power as well.
yay for us :) This is by far my favorite tool we have used thus far. I'm very excited to use this in my classroom. I think it is a great way to be demonstrating instructions while the video is playing...or be helping individual students while my voice is still leading a lesson. I enjoyed seeing everyone else's as well - and I think these are great resources for our future classrooms.
