How can you get gets exposed to new technologies without breaking the school budget? Partner with local businesses. We have had students help setup and maintain a call center IP PBX and help install state of the art Security Systems in the center. This partnership taught the students both the management and decision making process involved in selecting technology and the surprises that come up when implementing the solution. Don't be afraid to ask local businesses for help. You will be surprised how willing they can be.
