How Obama Got Elected - The Film Of The Month

Yesterday, my colleagues and me are taking some brainstorming about the good films nowadays that highlights the Obama’s administration. Then suddenly, Amy, my closest friend and assistant talked about the latest film of John Ziegler made entitled “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Sarah Palin Was Targeted”.

Actually this film purports that he was elected because the mainstream media was mean to Sarah Palin. It has been suggested that Obama was elected was via a process called voting – which has not occurred to Mr. Ziegler, who isn’t famed for intellectual prowess – and on a recent interview with Contessa Brewer on MSNBC, his microphone was cut due to his refusal to not act like an idiot. Many would give big cash advances to make How Obama Got Elected to go away and Ziegler to shut up.

This is proof of why every educator needs to integrate information literacy/media awareness skills into their instruction. A similarly made movie highlighted the political action of the FOX news network concerning John Kerry. See the movie trailer at http://www.outfoxed.org/.
also, you can see Rupert Murdock's network holdings (2001) at
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/cool/giants/news.html The FOX network is FAR reaching -not just an American news service.
Disclaimer: remember the "Out Foxed" movie is as one-sided as the “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Sarah Palin Was Targeted”. You be the judge! ;)
