Got my grade, did you? NECC was great! So much to do in so little time and many sessions were full by the time I got there. Need to learn to go to the session prior to the one you really want to attend so you will have a seat for the next one! Take care and keep in touch!

In Rockingham County, the ITRTs do a 5th grade PowerPoint presentation using Netsmartz as a resource once a year for every 5th grade class. The teachers are suppose to teach internet safety using our curriculum guidelines at http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/netsafety/rcpscurr08/rcpsnetsafecurrmain.htm

Another good resource is Hanover's Internet Safety for K-5 at http://hcpstraining.org/itrt/HCPSISafe/

Let me know if you need more Internet Safety resources

Hey Susan! Good to hear from you. Elementary used Netsmartz a lot as well. Highschool used a program called "Missing" and ran it through PE classes so as to cover everyone. The ITRT's handled internet safety here in Culpeper, I'm not sure how they do it elsewhere. Is this what you were asking? Did I answer your question?
